Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (or whatever pieces you can convince to stay in the pot)
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 4 carrots (chop them like you're auditioning for a cooking show)
  • 3 celery Stalks (because apparently, soup isn't soup without them)
  • 1 onion (cry it out, it's therapeutic)
  • 3 garlic cloves (vampires beware)
  • salt, pepper, your favorite herbs (to taste) (a sprinkle of sass doesn’t hurt either)
  • 12 cups water (the soup’s MVP)
  • 4.5 cups Egg Noodles

Instructions

  • Toss that chicken into a big pot like it owes you money.
  • Add water until the chicken is comfortably swimming. Boil it like it’s in hot gossip.
  • Skim off the foam—this is soup, not a bubble bath.
  • Add veggies and seasonings. Stir like you’re casting a delicious spell
  • Simmer for an hour or until your kitchen smells like grandma's hugs.
  • Remove the chicken, shred it, and toss it back in.

Notes

Serve with bread, crackers, or just a spoon and some enthusiasm. Enjoy your masterpiece!
